1st – 6:00am – 2:30pm
2nd – 2:00pm – 10:30pm (10% shift differential)
3rd – 10:00pm – 6:30am (12% shift differential)

Position Summary : The Process Operator runs, performs set-ups, maintain safe operations, and cleanings of the production equipment.
Essential Functions

It does not imply that all positions within the class perform all the duties listed, nor does it necessarily list all possible duties that may be assigned.) •Operates production machinery and follows the procedures per both company & FDA requirements.
•Meets the requirements for use of manufacturing equipment and other commonly used equipment per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
•Properly uses all scales, printouts, zeroing, setting tares, and daily calibration verification per SOPs.
•Examines manufacturer Product ID Labels, Quality Control release tags, and Batch Production Record to verify issued/staged raw materials can be released for production.
•Proficient in (Master Clean/Surface clean) equipment cleaning.
•Follows and runs processes to meet the assigned schedule for the department.
•Check for document formula discrepancies.
•Assist in material inventory, ensuring accurate inventory records.
•Check all documents for accuracy. Completes documentation associated with manufacturing processes (e.g. batch record, protocols, and logbooks) with detail and accuracy.
•Maintains good housekeeping and keeps equipment clean in accordance with SOPs.
•Communicates any discrepancies, inaccuracies, machine problems to the supervisor.
Education and Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the experience and qualifications required:
Education •High school diploma or equivalent with proficiency in basic math skills (addition, subtraction, fractions, and measurements).
Industry Experience Required •Minimum of one (1) experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience in a solid dosage manufacturing environment a plus.
•Basic or commonly used rules, procedures, and operations with some previous training or experience.
Working Environment
The working environment demands of this job are physically and environmentally center around the characteristics and abilities involved in this work. The work environment considers the risks and discomforts in the physical surroundings and the nature of the work assigned to ensure that all safety regulations and techniques required to perform the job are precautions practical to eliminate all risks.
Physical •Requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; recurring reaching, bending, climbing in restricted areas or similar activities; recurring lifting or use of lifting equipment of moderately heavy (50lbs) weight items.
•Operates machines and/or equipment that may result in some fatigue with much of the operations being done in a non-sitting position .
•Work requires specific, but common, physical characteristics and a high degree of dexterity.
•Each area specifies the required PPE for that process operation such as gowns, uniforms, boots, goggles, gloves, shields and the like.
Environmental •Work involves moderate risks or discomforts requiring special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machinery, materials and irritant chemicals that require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gowns, uniforms, boots, goggles, gloves, shields and the like.
•Work is regularly performed inside in a manufacturing environment.
•Exposure to dust, odor, noise or fumes. The noise level is usually moderate
•Educated on the presence of hazardous waste on-site. Generates hazardous waste and how to properly dispose of the waste during the performance of daily job responsibilities.
