PipeLine Contracting, LLC is one of the area’s premier home remodelers on the eastern shore serving Maryland & Delaware beaches and surrounding areas. We are looking for a full-time Kitchen, Bath Designer, and Salesperson in our new Design showroom located in Berlin, MD.

What the day to day will look like for this position: (Job Description)
• Greet clients in our design showroom, assess client’s needs, and assist the customer with product selections
• Respond to, and follow-up on all inquiries from prospective clients
• Go to client location and measure
• Use 20/20 design software to prepare creative project designs
• Design clear renderings of the project and detailed scope of work using PipeLine Contracting systems
• Complete project estimates using our systems; work with office manager on final pricing
• Assist clients in all product selection in our Design Showroom
• Prepare and complete all contract documentation using our systems
• Work with Field Director on project requirements and measurements
• Follow-up with project during construction and visit construction sites as needed
• Complete final walk-through with clients after project to present warranty packet and ask for referrals and review

Position Skill Requirements:
• Min. Associates degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related design field
• Min. 5+ years of experience in Design and Retail, Specialty Retail, Outside sales or trade experience
• Experience in one or more of the following fields: Project Design, Project Design Sales, Project Design Project Management
• Advanced and highly organized project manager
• Exceptional level of attention to detail
• Extremely proficient in 20/20 design software, Microsoft Excel, & Word
• Efficient with designing and selling cabinet lines (Bertch cabinets preferred)
• Experience at working with trade professionals and consumers
• Manage projects by keeping accurate records; submit activity reports, daily call reports, weekly & monthly workplans
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stay within a budget, analyzing & drawing conclusions, decisiveness, dispute/conflict resolution, process compliance, and customer driven
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to read blueprints
• Knowledge of space planning, color theory, building materials, & design terminology
• Coordinate with installation team and contractors on final design specifications/measurements and product delivery timelines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Sales aptitude including the ability to close the sale, presentation skills, initiative/persistence, adaptability and professionalism
• Delivers 100% on commitments and expectations
• Collaborates by contributing to team efforts and steps forward to help; seeks input from others
• Can work in ambiguity even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel to customer sites for measurements and project management follow-up
