We are a seasonal business that processes cucumbers for pickling. We operate from mid-June thru September with a break in August. Positions available are:
Graders/Sorters – Inspect and separate defective cucumbers from quality cucumbers.
Forklift Drivers – Move bulk/bin produce containers to and from loading/unloading areas
Bulk Loaders – Load produce into reefer trailers and/or in boxes/bins. Good hand/eye coordination. ATTENTION TO DETAIL a MUST
Box Builders/Plastics – Building boxes and organizing boxes throughout the day as necessary. Occasional sweeping to keep areas clean. Install plastic in reefer trailers
Box Weight Recorder – Log produce information on boxes, ACCURATE & ATTENTION TO DETAIL a MUST
Maintenance – Experience a MUST. Ability to work on small motors, bulk loaders, simple electric wiring
Trailer Wash-Out – Wash out reefer trailers before loading produce. Ability to operate a pressure washer, EYE FOR DETAIL and able to work in small spaces.
Yard/Truck Coordinator – Ensure drivers sign in upon arrival, verify driver information, ensure trailers are clean & ready for loading, work closely with Ag Manager & Shipping Coordinator
Chains – Constant monitoring the flow of produce traveling across chains.
Floor Sweepers – Constantly keep floors swept up from cucumbers/water/debris
Hydro-Cooler Operator – Schedule cooling of produce in reefer trailers, ability to read & understand gauges, record daily activity in log
We may work many hours, possibly 7 days a week (weather permitting).
